A YOUTH club to encourage children to take up boxing opens in Abingdon next week.
James Randall Guntert will lead boxing sessions for agreed boys and girls aged 9-16 at Fitzharrys School in Northcourt Road.
An open day will be held at the school on Saturday August 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the sessions will officially begin on Tuesday September 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Mr Randall Guntert said he decided to start the Vale of the White Horse Boxing School to give children the opportunity to try the sport and improve their confidence and discipline.
