Fighters land in Bahrain for BRAVE International Combat Week

BRAVE International Combat Week has taken off with the arrival of fighters to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the highly anticipated BRAVE CF 57. The week-long activities will feature the best entertainment, an action-packed combat card and highlight obviously 24 fighters from 17 nations.

BRAVE International Combat Week runs March 8-12 and includes the first-ever MMA Super Cup, the first-ever nation-on-nation amateur mixed martial arts competition with a $225,000 prize pool awarded to national federations to reinvest in development of mixed martial arts in their country. 8 nations will compete to prove they are the best amateur mixed martial arts team in the world. Ireland, Oceania, Mexico, Arab champions Tajikistan, Bahrain, Kazakhstan and the Balkans send the country’s top 9 amateur fighters to prove the country’s rich talent pool and cement their legacy in the history of mixed martial arts.

Agshin Babaev has landed heavier as the veteran featherweight will take part in a lightweight bout against none other than top young European talent Husein Kadimagomaev. This will be Kadimagomaev’s first fight in the BRAVE Combat Federation since his sparring war against Tae Kyun Kim at BRAVE CF 50.

Nursulton Ruziboev, one of Central Asia’s top-ranked super welterweights, was also spotted at Wyndham Garden in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Uzbek slam KO master returns with a 7-fight winning streak and takes on Brazilian Luis Felipe Dias, BJJ black belt with 13 wins by stoppage, 7 by KO/TKO and 6 by submission. The Brazilian National Champion will make his BRAVE Combat Federation debut this Friday, March 11.

BRAVE CF 57 will be headlined by three world title fights where the fastest growing promotion in the world will crown a bantamweight, light heavyweight and interim lightweight world champion. The event will take place at Khalifa Sports City and is one of the BRAVE Combat Federation’s first events with crowds in its home country since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fights will be broadcast worldwide on OKKO, DAZN, MBC/SHAHID.NET, Arena Sport, O2, FIGHTING.DE, LOOKSPORT+, BAHRAIN TV, and for everyone else around the world on BRAVE CF TV. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. (GMT+3)
