NEW YORK, NY – May 27, 2022 – USA Boxing Metro today officially announced the National Golden Gloves Qualifying Tournament Finals, “Ring Masters Championships”, which will take place at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden on Thursday, June 16. .

After 14 exciting events including USA Boxing Metro’s “Road to the Garden” tournament, the top New York Metro Area Open/Novice Senior amateur boxers will advance to the finals at the “Mecca of Boxing”, Madison Square Garden, in the “Ring Masters Championships” on Thursday, June 16 from 6:00 p.m. Shows were performed at great venues including: Sony Hall, Bay Ridge Catholic Academy, Gleason’s Gym, Church Street Boxing and Hudson Valley Sports Dome., in front of sold-out crowds.

An action-packed card of up to twenty-four fights will take place at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden, with winners and runners-up receiving uniquely designed Ring Masters championship rings as well as the Elite Open punching their tickets to the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions in Tulsa, OK in August.

The “Road to the Garden” showcased the talents of New York’s top young amateur boxers and Olympic hopefuls at venues across the New York area, upstate and Long Island, including competitors from 8 years and over. Open class competitors (ages 19-40) are eligible to qualify for the 2022 National Golden Glove Tournament. Additionally, boxers ages 8-40+ are eligible to compete for the rights of local bragging rights, making it USA Boxing Metro’s biggest tournament.
